Made me Sad, Then a little Mad

Had to go by the Court house yesterday. While waiting some information, i heard the dispatchers talking. Seems a bunch had a wild party all night and a few got in a fight in the morning.
Didn't seem anything that interesting. Until they got to talking about the baby that was brought up there. They had to pretty much arrest everyone in the house. And in the midst of it all was a child probably about a year old. Listening to the women talk it was something to behold. A child full of love and as beautiful as it could be. But with no one except for strangers to look out for it. The dispatchers fed the baby and cleaned it up, as best they could, while awaiting social services.
Man at first it made me sad for this child. Then a little angry that some would put partying and other stuff ahead of their children.
This time of year i guess it makes us all reflect. What a gift Christ was to the world.
And then here is one more child in this world for someone to look out for.
I guess some times we need to thank those we don't see who go out of their way.
Can't quite understand how people can let this happen to a child. But at least it was good to know some one was there to look out for this child.
